A more merry view of The World Mar 20, 2008
by Spirit Archer
The Legend of the Dot Hackers, Azure Kite and Black Rose.
At least that's what they're playing. Rena (Black Rose) won the legendary avatars of AK and BR and now her and her brother, Shugo, play in The World. Trying hard to get the hang of things, both players are transported to a Level 1 playing field in which they try to level up (but ultimately fail! Shugo can't even defeat a cat!). While they're resting, a level 40 Golem appears out of no where in the beginners field. In a heroic act, Shugo flings himself before Rena and takes the attack for her, ending his players life. One would think it's back to the Resurrection area, town or even login page, but no! Shugo ends up meeting Aura and is given the Key of the Twilight!
When Shugo awakens from being resurrected by Aura, he finds that Rena has been saved by Balmung, a moderator for The World. Balmung attempts to defeat the Golem, but Shugo beats him to it once he uses Data Drain. At this point, characters are met, and events unfold.
.Hack//Twilight is an adorable manga for any .hack fan. It jumps off from the game, .hack//INFECTION as it bases the two characters off Kite and Black Rose, but does not bring some characters into the manga, such as Elk and Mia. It is an uplifting manga that breathes into the .hack series, shying away from it's slightly darker side, .hack//SIGN with laughter and a bit of fan boy service.
If you're a fan of chibis, the .hack// series, or just a brother trying to save his sister, then this is defiantly for you.
Spirit Archer also recommended: .hack//G.U.,

by Pink Cherry
What I liked about this book was the characters, the clothes, the different personalities, the art etc.... What I didn't was the fact that it wasn't really drawing me in. Overall very good. I recommend this to any gamers.
Pink Cherry also recommended: Inuyasha, Naruto, A.I. Love You, Next Exit,
